Monuments to visit

Church of S. Maria delle Grazie or Chiesa Nuova
Rising above the town and said “Nouva” (New) because totally remodelled in the last century.
In modern style and adorned with some valuable painting.
Its pavement is made up of colonied tiles, and has six alters, five of which in marble; flanked by high alter, there are two niches holding a statue of the Madonna delle Grazie, and the other holding the heart of Jesus, both in wood.
The bell-tower, situated on three levels and surmounted by a dome in a shape of a spire.
Tower Costiera Trasita
Restored and transformed in habitation, it probably hue had the some origin as the other towers in Positano.
In the past, these towers were armed with two bronze cannons each, (except for Trasita that was one).
Transported in 1768 by sea to Naples to be fused.
Colleggiata Church of S. Maria Assunta
This church holds a silver bust dated 1694 dedicated to patron-saint S. Vito.
It also contains valuable painting attributed to a sixteenth century artist Giovanni Bernardo Lama.
Situated in a chapel on the right there is a beautiful painting of our Lady of the Rosary dated 1572.
The interior restored 1772 consist of three naves divided by pillar, supporting round arches.
Of particular interest is a wooden pulpit with paintings presenting S. Peter and Paul and the high alter in sixteenth century majolica, the pavement featuring bird, flowers and in a circle S. Luca depicting.
